CIA with BA’ resolves water problem via ‘Alan Aksyon Agad’

Snooky sought help from the program CIA with BA to share her struggle regarding the long-delayed installation of their water meter from Maynilad. In the Alan Aksyon Agad segment, she recounted her experience.

“Nag-apply po kami [para makabitan ng metro ng tubig] noong November. Tapos December po, binigyan kami ng resibo para makapagbayad na po. Nabayaran naman po namin, kaso hanggang ngayon, wala pa po kasing tubig,” Snooky said.

From December to March, they had to rely on their neighbors for water to meet their daily needs.

Kuya Alan’s team immediately took action. Led by Larry, they coordinated with Maynilad to find out the cause of the delay.

“Kinausap kami ni Sir Joey at ng OIC nila. Inexplain nila kung bakit natagalan. Sabi nila, do’n sa area nila [Snooky], mahina ‘yung pressure ng tubig,” Larry explained. He added that Snooky’s account was already in the system, but Maynilad needed to replace the old meters in their area first before proceeding with new installations.

Upon reinvestigation, Maynilad found that it was possible to install the new meter directly in front of Snooky's house. Finally, after months of waiting, their water meter was successfully installed.

The assistance from ‘CIA with BA’ didn’t end there. Upon learning that Snooky’s family once operated a small store, Kuya Alan promised that the program would also help them revive their source of livelihood.

“Kung may problema sa inyong lugar, ito ang deal natin, ‘wag kayong mahihiyang magsabi na may problema, hindi kami mahihiyang magsabi kung kaya namin o hindi, pero sa abot ng aming makakaya, bibigyan namin ng aksyon at solusyon kaagad,” Kuya Alan told viewers.
